Nut Free Gingerbread Granola

Tis the season of gingerbread! Whole grain, natural sweetened, warm spices and nut free granola! Enjoy topped on your favorite yogurt or smoothie.


  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla


  • Preheat oven to 300F degrees.
  • Line large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the oats, chia seeds, coconut flakes, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, all spice, and ginger.
  • In a medium saucepan, heat over medium heat the coconut oil, molasses, syrup, and vanilla.
  • Stir heated ingredients with dry mixture.
  • Spread on sheet pan.
  • Cook for 30 minutes, while flipping the granola with a large spatula every 10 minutes.
  • Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
