Baked Apples

Easy to make and a healthy way to use up those apples this fall! Enjoy a simple light dessert for a cool autumn evening!


  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp butter or coconut oil, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Wash and cut off top of apples.
  3. Carefully hollow out the apples.
  4. Mix oats, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and butter or coconut oil together and poor into apples.
  5. Fill bottom of a baking dish with 1/4 inch of water. Place apples in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
